FIELD: lighting engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting engineering. Luminaire housing consists of interconnected sections of two cross-sectional profiles of different cross-section. As sections are used two sections of plate, having L-shape and projections on inner surface, forming grooves with cross section in form of trapezium, and one section of plate, at ends of which perpendicular to surface of plate and along its length there are ledges with cross section in form of trapezium. Some arms of L-shaped plate sections are connected to each other by "dovetail socket" connection by input of one ledge of plate with projections into one slot of one plate of L-shape and insertion of its other ledge into groove of the other plate of L-shape.
EFFECT: luminaire body profile (versions) are proposed, and the luminaire body (versions) made using the profile is used.
