SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of controlling coaxiality of stands of rolling mills of longitudinal rolling of pipes, based on using a laser coordinate measuring system using standard angle reflectors. Roller position is monitored by adjusting bed position and stand screws by pre-marked control points.

EFFECT: improved straightness of tubes rolled at mills for longitudinal rolling, prevention of tube ends curvature.
