FIELD: control devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices intended for control over rolling and prevention of its exit from rolling line in multi-groove multi-strand continuous rolling mill. Device comprises first and second video cameras, visual control means and control signal transmission means. First video camera is installed between the forming rolling stand and the following separating rolling stand and is made with the possibility of determining deformation of the front end of the roll before separation into strands. Second video camera is installed after the separating rolling stand and is made with the possibility of determining deviation of symmetry of the roll inlet into the mill of each of the roll strands. Visual control means is configured to process images from the first video camera to determine deformation of the roll before separation into strands and processing images from the second video camera to determine deviation of symmetry of the entrance to the roll stand of each of the roll strands. Control signal transmission means is configured to transmit signals to stop the operation of the rolling mill.
EFFECT: risk of emergency situations occurring during the extraction of the rolled product is reduced.
