FIELD: drying.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for drying capillary-porous materials and can be used for drying of lumber. Drying chamber comprises housing, power supply, electrodes connected to stack of wood products and connected to power supply, made polar, and electrodes are made in form of grids and contact needles, galvanically and mechanically connected to frame. Chamber is equipped with an air blower installed in the area of electrodes connected to the power supply source negative pole, and power supply source contains element sensitive to electric current value and capable to switch off power supply at electric current drop to a certain minimum.
EFFECT: technical result of invention is higher reliability of technological process of wood dehydration and quality of treated wood.
