TUBULAR ELECTROBAROMEMBRANE UNIT Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC B01D61/46

Abstract RU 2716121 C1

FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tubular-type membrane apparatus and can be used for membrane processes. Electrobaromembrane device includes cylindrical housing with mating and end flanges, tube grids, clamping grids, unipolar electrodes-anodes located between tube and pressure grids, unipolar electrodes-cathodes located between clamping grates and end flanges, a anodic permeate collector, a cathode permeate collector formed between a pressure grid and a monopolar cathode electrode, a cathode permeate channel, through holes for tubes with anode and cathode membranes located on the outside, electric current supply device terminals connected to anode electrode and cathode electrode, initial solution inlet unions, retentate outlet and anodic permeate outlet, two cathode permeate output nozzles located in apparatus section from horizontal axis at angles 3π/2 from its both end faces, right probes located inside tubes with cathode-ray membranes and connected to two end sides with cathode, and left probes arranged inside tubes with anode membranes and connected to two end sides with anode, wherein the diameter of the tubes with cathode membranes is three times larger than the diameter of the tubes with anodic membranes.

EFFECT: invention increases area of separation of solutions, reduces hydraulic resistance in channels for discharge of cathode permeate, high quality and efficiency of separation of solutions.
