SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of ophthalmic examination. Surgical imaging system and method for its implementation can contain at least one light source configured to generate a light beam; a beam directing system configured to direct a light beam from the light source; a beam scanner configured to receive light from the beam directing system and generate a scanning light beam; beam splitter configured to redirect the scanning beam of light. System also comprises a wide field of view (WFOV) lens configured to direct the redirected scanning beam of light to the target portion of the eye being treated, where the beam splitter is arranged with the possibility of movement relative to the treated eye so that the beam splitter can be selectively moved, changing at least one of the following: angle of incidence of redirected scanning beam of light into treated eye and target area of treated eye.
EFFECT: technical result is creating a movable wide-angle system for obtaining a diagnostic image and/or delivering a light beam for treating intraoperatively, without surgical limitation or disturbance of the surgical work process, with an adjustable scanning angle.
