GUIDANCE SYSTEM BASED ON IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS FOR OPHTHALMIC POSITIONING USING ANALYSIS OF POSITION AND ORIENTATION Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A61B3/14

Abstract RU 2608428 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Ophthalmic positioning system comprises: ophthalmic imaging system, containing image forming system based on optical coherence tomography, made with possibility of forming of image section of patient’s eye during positioning of patient's interface with respect to eye, and image processor configured to determine position and orientation of imaged section of eye by image analysis; and guidance system connected to ophthalmic imaging system configured to guide positioning on basis of determined position before patient's interface positioning and orientation in relation to eye, wherein imaged section of eye comprises imaged section of eye lens; and image processor is designed to perform image recognition process to identify scanned image of front capsular layer of eye lens and scanned image of posterior capsular layer of eye lens in image. Wherein image processor is configured to determine front maximum depth and front minimum depth of front capsular layer and rear maximum depth and rear minimum depth of rear capsular layer at variable scanning and determining position and orientation of eye lens from front maximum depth, front minimum depth, rear maximum depth and rear minimum depth. Method of guiding during ophthalmological positioning includes steps of: image of section of patient's eye is formed during positioning of patient's interface with respect to eye; position and orientation of imaged section of eye are determined by image analysis; and aiming at positioning on basis of determined position and orientation by guidance system to patient's interface positioning in relation to eye.

EFFECT: use of given group of inventions allows to increase efficiency of centering and positioning.
