SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to gynecology, and can be used for treating chronic endometritis. That is ensured by photosensitising endometrium by intrauterine introduction of Radachlorin 3.5 mg or Photoditazine 0.5 mg with exposure 60–90 minutes. That is followed by a photodynamic therapy by exposing the inner walls of the uterine cavity with laser radiation at wave length 662 nm in continuous mode to obtain a light energy density of 30–40 J/cm² at radiation power of 0.3–0.4 Wt.

EFFECT: method provides effective sanitation of the endometrium irrespective of the type of agent due to selective destructive effect on the centers of pathological changes without systemic phototoxic and side effects.
