POSSIBILITY TO MAINTAIN CONTINUITY OF POWER SUPPLY FOR WIND TURBINE Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC H02J3/12 H02J3/38

Abstract RU 2693017 C1

FIELD: electrical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrical equipment. According to invention wind turbine system (20, 70) is connected to electric network (42) by inverter (38), which provides voltage support (Vt) at turbine leads to network during low voltage failure of network, which is simultaneous with no generation of actual power from generator (30), by providing reactive power to network. Processor (46) controls inverter to maintain minimum voltage on local DC bus (34) by stopping output of reactive power, when bus voltage drops to threshold value (59), which is higher than preset value (56) of bus low voltage tripping.

EFFECT: technical result consists in possibility of maintaining continuity of power supply of wind turbine generator system, connected to electric network by means of alternating current converter (AC–AC) in conditions of low voltage in network, when no power is generated by wind turbine generator.
