FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: power converter is proposed and it can be used for conjugation of generator (4) generating the controlled voltage with controlled frequency to power circuit which shall provide nominal fixed voltages with nominal fixed frequency; at that, power converter has a number of peculiar features which allow keeping its connection to power circuit and provide continuous control at failures of the circuit operation and in conditions of transient processes. Power converter includes bridge (10) of generator, which is electrically connected to generator (4) stator, and bridge (14) of the circuit. Between bridge (10) of generator and bridge (14) of the circuit there is link (12) of field transistor (FT). Between bridge (14) of circuit and power circuit there connected is filter (16) equipped with mains terminals. In order to control the operation of power semi-conductor valves of bridge (10) of generator there provided is the first controller (18). In the same way, for controlling the operation of power semi-conductor valves of bridge (14) of the circuit there provided is the second controller (46). In the first controller (18) there used is command signal (VDC GEN*) of voltage control on FT link, which is determined with necessary voltage on FT link, to control power semi-conductor valves of the first active rectifier/inverter (10) in order to obtain the required voltage level on FT link which corresponds to command signal (VDC GEN*) of voltage control on FT link. In the second controller (46) there used is command signal (P*) of power control, which is determined by the level of power which shall be transmitted from link (12) of FT to the power circuit through the second active rectifier/inverter (14), and command signal (VTURB*) of voltage control, which is determined by voltage which shall be obtained on mains terminals of filter (16) to control power semi-conductor valves of the second active rectifier/inverter (14) in order to reach necessary levels of power and voltage, which correspond to command control signals of power and voltage (P* and VTURB*).
EFFECT: providing controllability in all modes.
