FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction and is intended for buildings and structures under construction in seismically hazardous areas, or for objects having a special purpose. Support of an earthquake-resistant building, the structure contains upper and lower parts with flat support surfaces, between which at least three balls are located between each other and in different directions as a movable ball coupling, contacting with support parts, which are installed with possibility of return at their displacement from soil deformation to initial position. Space between upper and lower parts of support is filled with elastic mass intended for return of displaced support parts at seismic action of soil to initial position due to tangential forces arising between contact surfaces on boundary of support parts and elastic mass at deformation of soil.
EFFECT: technical result is widening the range of technical means used to protect buildings and structures from seismic actions, as well as in reduction of labor intensity of manufacturing and installation of supports of earthquake-resistant buildings, while maintaining their effectiveness to reduce seismic forces and limit movement of buildings in earthquakes with a wide range of frequencies.
