FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermal power engineering and can be used at steam boilers of thermal power plants. Pulverized-coal and gas prismatic furnace comprises screened vertical walls, upper end wall and slopes of cold funnel, pulverized coal burners, as well as air nozzles installed on two large walls and directed tangentially to surfaces of arbitrary rotation bodies. Pulverized coal burners, as well as air nozzles are arranged on its large walls in an opposite-offset pattern and directed inclined upwards, wherein pulverized coal burners are installed under nozzles of secondary air – gas burners and are inclined upward at a greater angle compared to them, opposite the secondary air nozzles – gas burners there are nozzles of screening air and are inclined upward by an angle which is not less than the angle of inclination of secondary air nozzles – gas burners, under nozzles of screening air, but not above the level of installation of pulverized coal burners, there are nozzles of tertiary air, wherein continuation of their axes within the furnace are directed to intersection of continuation of axes of pulverized coal burners of the opposite wall at points located at a distance of not more than 5d from pulverized coal burners along their axes, where d is equivalent diameter of pulverized coal burners.
EFFECT: elimination of fuel underburning and reduced NOx emission in pulverized-coal power units of high power 800 MW.
