FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: vertical prismatic furnace comprises combustion chamber with vertical axis of symmetry, walls screened with tubes with embrasures and inbuilt burners, having their own side walls, multi-pipe and vertical-slot gas discharge heads, and also vertical-slot mononozzle air exhaust heads separated from them by means of screening pipes with horizontal axes that create tangents to their own conventional cylindrical surfaces coaxial to vertical axis of combustion chamber. In each burner gas discharge vertical-slot head is arranged as mononozzle, multi-pipe gas discharge head is installed between vertical-slot gas discharge and air exhaust heads, and between gas discharge vertical-slot and multi-pipe heads there are additional screening tubes installed, besides air exhaust mononozzle head is installed near side wall facing mononozzle gas discharge head of neighboring burner, diametre of circumference of conventional cylindrical contact surface of horizontal axes of gas discharge vertical-slot mononozzle heads makes (1.05-2.0)Dv, and for gas discharge multi-pipe heads - (1.5-2.5)Dv, where Dv - diametre of circumference of conventional cylindrical contact surface of horizontal axes of air exhaust mononozzle heads.
EFFECT: increased interrepair life of burners and lower level of nitrogen oxides exhaust together with combustion products.
