SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the computer equipment. Method of changing background colour of tool panel according to dominant colour of image includes: providing transparency of background colour of toolbar of currently launched application; extraction of the image dominant colour at the moment displayed in the user interface of the application; and using the extracted colour as the toolbar background colour and displaying the extracted colour; wherein in addition, colours of toolbar buttons are changed automatically according to changed background colour of toolbar.
EFFECT: technical result is adaptive adjustment of colour of tool panel according to resultant content.
