FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to therapeutic dentistry, and can be used for treating mucositis. For this purpose, a two-layer lozenge is provided, having an adhesive and non-adhesive layer which contains 5 mg to 250 mg of hyaluronan released when the oral cavity is maintained. Also disclosed is a method of treating mucositis by using said lozenge.
EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to accelerate recovery due to a long period of dissolution of the hyaluronan-containing lozenge in the non-adhesive layer.
