FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used in production of perforated sections. Coiled steel is unwound, straightened, obtained strip is passed through roll-forming line equipped with perforating mechanisms in form of hydraulic cylinders with set of perforating tool. At the same time cutting of holes, cuts, cutting-out, chamfers and flanges is performed on the reeled strip prior to its profiling on the rolls controlled by actuators moved in transverse direction relative to strip movement direction.
EFFECT: wider range of fabricated profiles, higher accuracy and quality.
