FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: in the collector assembly of the sample and the storage container, the collector is configured to take and hold the biopsy sample from the body when introduced into the body and comprises perforator (251) and a unique identifier on the collector or therein, machine-readable when applying the biopsy sample collector. Cutter with a cutting edge is made at the cutting end of the perforator to remove and hold the biopsy sample. Unique identifier includes an electronic identifier (EID) built into the collector body. Hole in container body is closed by removable cap, which together form enclosing area. Cap comprises a passage into the above containing area and during use it is sealed with a collector that holds the biopsy sample in the enclosing area. Container has a unique identifier. At that collector is provided in location of actuation of instrument of tissue sampler. Collector EID is read out and stored together with the container identification information and the body identification information subject to sampling. Tissue sampler tool comprises a body carrying a stem for inserting a collector with possibility of being actuated to move along a path relative to the body between a first position, aligned to introduce manifold from primary position and pushing collector mill through body part, and a second position, in which the milling cutter has been pushed by said rod for removing a biopsy sample from said body. Sampler tool comprises EID reader and EID reading information storage device. Higher degree of protection of the biopsy samples taking procedure from the body is achieved, improved tracking of sampling and prevention of their opening to improve accuracy of records. Also, additional guarantee of sample integrity, ease and safety of container opening for sample extraction without necessity to perform manipulations with collector or its sharp and capable to cause contamination perforator.
EFFECT: during use, the perforator enters the collector cap, which eliminates the possibility of its contact with the user and eliminates the need for separate recycling.
