FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a catalytic element for heterogeneous high-temperature reactions, which includes a two-stage catalytic system consisting of catalytic and trap screens – 1 stage and a high-strength thermostable regular cellular structure flow distributor – stage 2, wherein as the high-strength thermostable flow distributor of the regular honeycomb structure, the catalyst element comprises rectangular or hexagonal blocks with cellular channels of rectangular or triangular, or round shape, high-strength thermostable flow distributor of regular honeycomb structure consists of aluminosilicate material with cordierite structure with main phase content of 70–85 wt%.

EFFECT: high mechanical strength, resistance to thermal shocks, longer service life of the catalyst system for heterogeneous high-temperature reactions.
