SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to sterilization of medical devices. Disclosed is a method for sterilizing a drainage system for biological fluids for treating a biological liquid ex vivo, according to which a sterilization container is exposed; inserting container into a drainage system chamber for biological fluids; and chamber containing container is subjected to gas sterilization. Drainage system for biological fluids comprises a chamber and a container, comprising a surface-protecting liquid discharged into a drainage system chamber for biological fluids, wherein the surface-protecting liquid adheres to the surface of the chamber and prevents contact of other liquids with the surface. Also disclosed is a version of a method for sterilizing a drainage system for biological fluids for treating a biological liquid ex vivo. Group of inventions provides sterilization of drainage system, which can be stored for a long time.

EFFECT: disclosed methods provide high resistance of the surface against incrustation and formation of biofilm, thereby increasing accuracy and period of using the drainage system.
