SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary science, particularly to a method for inducing vomiting in dogs in situations of swallowing potentially toxic substances or foreign bodies. That is ensured by administering to the dog's eye an effective amount of the eye drops composition containing 0.2–10 % of the weight of the ropinirole composition or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt and 90–99.8 % of sterile water.

EFFECT: invention provides especially persistent and rapid onset of vomiting without inducing prolonged vomiting, eye discomfort or considerable local irritation when introduced into an animal's eye.
