SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for heating a smoking material for evaporating at least one component of a smoking material, which includes a housing containing a recess for placing a cartridge in it, and a hole in the recess; and the mouthpiece containing the inlet, outlet, channel, a fluid inlet with an outlet, and a seal surrounding the inlet; while the mouthpiece is installed in relation to the body so as to close the hole, with a seal facing the recess for contacting the cartridge when the cartridge is positioned in the recess to seal the inlet of the mouthpiece into the cartridge during use.
