SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a cartridge for an aerosol delivery device, a control housing, an aerosol delivery device and a method of forming an aerosol delivery device. Cartridge for an aerosol delivery device comprises a main reservoir configured to hold an aerosol precursor composition, atomizer configured to evaporate the aerosol precursor and comprising heater contacts and a base extending between the end of the housing directed towards the main reservoir and the atomizer, and a connecting end configured to interact with the possibility of unfastening with the control housing. Base comprises an anti-rotation mechanism at the connecting end, configured to prevent rotation of the cartridge relative to the control housing when interacting with it. Heater contacts extend to ends located inside the base for electrical connection of the cartridge to the control housing.

EFFECT: improved disconnection between the control housing and its cartridge in the device in which the heat generated by electric energy is used to create the sensation of cigarette smoking.
