SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a holder for an aerosol delivery device with a detachable and replaceable cartridge. Holder comprises a heat source, a part in the form of a substrate and an outer casing. Casing is configured to surround at least a portion of the heat source and a portion in the form of a substrate. Holder comprises a receiving end and a mouth end opposite to the receiving end. Holder forms a seat configured to receive the near part of the cartridge and has an ignition configuration. Holder is made with the possibility of fixing the near part of the cartridge inside the socket with the heat source of the cartridge, opposite to the near part located behind the receiving end of the holder. Holder also has an accepted configuration, in which the holder is made with possibility of fixing the near part of the cartridge in the socket with a heat source located closer to the receiving end of the holder. Receiving end comprises solid peripheral wall. Holder additionally contains a mouthpiece forming part of the channel. Holder comprises a main body part forming a chamber and a sleeve sliding inside the chamber and including pins extending to the receiving end. Pins form a seat between them and have an expanded configuration, in which the seat is configured to receive the proximal part of the cartridge, and a compressed configuration in which the fingers are configured to interact with the proximal portion of the cartridge to secure the cartridge to the holder. Main body part includes an inner cylinder forming its distal part.

EFFECT: providing a smoking article which is easy to use and in which reusable components are provided.
