FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device for absorbing electrical noise in cables includes a housing consisting of two cup-shaped parts hingedly connected to each other. Each of cup-shaped parts is designed to receive ferrite element. In closed position of housing in each of end sides there is a hole for passage of cable through them. On the inner surface of each of the housing end faces there is a fixing device, which contains two U-shaped brackets. Inner shelves of brackets, facing each other, form spline, in which cable is clamped. Inner flanges are made with possibility of their deformation in crosswise direction relative to cable direction, at that, flanges of brackets are made in the form of beams.
EFFECT: invention provides its use for a wider range of values of cable diameters.
