SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronic transaction financing source identification means. Method of blocking an electronic transaction comprises steps of: a payment terminal: receiving a transaction request containing one or more sets of accounting data from the payment device; and determines whether said credentials include a funding source presentation (FSP), and if not, generates an FSP from one or more said sets of accounting data according to a predetermined algorithm stored on said payment terminal; wherein funding source presentation is obtained from funding primary account number (FPAN) of funding source of said payment device. Methods disclose aspects of a method of blocking an electronic transaction and a payment terminal.
