SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of processing user data for performing a payment transaction. Method includes preliminary user registration in payment processing system with preservation of user's first hash vector and user's payment data, scanning user face when passing to location territory of point of sale and obtaining second hash vector of user's face, scanning a user's face directly at the moment of providing a service or acquiring a commodity at a POS terminal and obtaining a third hash vector of the person, followed by pairwise comparison thereof with the hash vectors of the registered persons and pairwise matching with the hash vectors of the persons on the territory of the location of the point of sale, taking into account a plurality of pairs of values and obtaining a matching result in the form of a third plurality of pairs of values, comparing the second and third sets to obtain a client identifier having a maximum match probability, extracting data on user's payment data from the database, debiting money from the user's account and sending cash receipts and transaction details to the cash receipt terminal.
