FIELD: pulp industry.
SUBSTANCE: application describes a method of controlling deposits of sticky substances in pulp cooking and paper making processes, comprising adding to fibrous cellulose or a weight of an additive containing organomodified siloxane containing units of formula: [R1aZbSiO(4-a-b)/2]n, in which each R1 is independently selected from a group comprising a hydrogen atom, alkyl, aryl, alkenyl, arylalkyl, alkylaryl, alkoxy group, alkanoyloxy group, hydroxy group, ester or ethereal group and each Z is independently selected from a group comprising an alkyl group substituted with an amino group, an amide group, a carboxy group, an ester group or an epoxy group, or preferably at least one or more groups -R2-(OCpH2p)q(OCrH2r)s-R3; where n is an integer greater than 1; a and b are independently equal to 0, 1, 2 or 3; R2 denotes an alkylene group or a direct bond; R3 denotes a group defined above for R1 or Z; p and r are independent integers from 1 to 6; q and s are independently 0 or are integers such that 1<q+s<400; and in which each organomodified siloxane molecule contains at least one Z group. Organomodified siloxane preferably is a linear polydimethylsiloxane-containing end hydroxy groups or alkyl groups, in which from 5 to 18 mol% silicon atoms are substituted with Z groups of formula -R2-(OCpH2p)q(OCrH2r)s-R3, in which p is 2, r is 3 and q and s are independently from 10 to 20, R2 denotes an alkylene group containing 1 to 6 carbon atoms, or a direct bond and R3 denotes a hydrogen atom or a hydroxy group, an alkoxy group, an ester or ether group.
EFFECT: disclosed is a method of controlling deposits of sticky substances in pulping and paper making techniques.
