FIELD: medicine; pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to medicine and pharmaceutical industry. Drug for increasing motor activity and improving motor function of extremities after craniocerebral injury contains as active principle a mixture of bis{2-[(2E)-4-hydroxy-4-oxobut-2-enyloyloxy]-N,N-diethylethananium}butanedioate (DEAE) and calcium hydrophosphate with content of DEAE in the initial mixture of 0.6 to 85 wt. %. Excipients are selected from a group comprising microcrystalline cellulose, lactose, starch, mannitol, sodium starch glycolate, sodium croscarmellose, polyvinylpyrrolidone, magnesium stearate and calcium stearate. Drug is presented in the form of a tablet or capsule. Method for preparing a drug comprises mixing liquid DEAE with calcium hydrophosphate and excipients while stirring, separation of precipitated crystals by filtration and drying thereof under vacuum or introduction into liquid DEAE as a seed of crystals obtained by holding liquid DEAE at temperature of 0±1 °C for 2–3 months, recrystallization of residue and its mixing with calcium hydrophosphate and auxiliary substances.
EFFECT: medicinal agent according to the invention combines efficacy in treating the consequences of craniocerebral injury with ease of use of the preparation in a solid dosage form for oral administration.
