FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technological control, primarily, of space objects (SO). Method includes measuring angle (α) between the direction from the reference point to the SO to the light source (the Sun) and the normal to the surface of the SO at the reference point. Angle (β) is also measured between the optical axis of the camera equipment (CE) mounted on the SO and the direction to the light source. SO orientation is changed to reaching angle α values, giving given level of illumination of landmark, and angle β – values excluding CE blast. Landmark shooting is carried out at the moments when the microaccelerations measured by the sensor from vibrations of the housing of the SO do not exceed the threshold values. In order to establish the deformation of the SO housing (based on the displacement of the reference images), images taken at time instants determined from the vibration amplitude attenuation condition are selected, taking into account the mismatch of the microacceleration measurements and the images snapshots timing.
EFFECT: minimization of noise from SO housing vibration.
