FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to investigation of tribotechnical characteristics of materials of friction pairs and can be used for their determination with high accuracy not only in normal, but in specific conditions, in particular in open space, in the zone of ionizing radiations, extreme temperatures, etc. Device comprises a housing, in which a rotor is installed on bearings for attachment of a test sample, made in form of a disc, holder contr. sample, made in form of strain-gage beam fixed on body with installed on it screw mechanism of normal loading of friction pair, providing its elastic deformation, in which finger contr. pattern, forming with the disc the friction test pair, as well as the rotor rotation drive. Device is equipped with rigidly fixed on rotor disk with specified moment of inertia and with made on it reference marks, recorder of location of reference marks, coupling, disconnecting the rotor from the drive, and the holder tenso-beam contr. sample is fixed at ends, at that its longitudinal axis coincides with vector of friction force.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determining tribotechnical properties of analysed materials, simplified design, reduced weight and size of the device, reduced labour intensity of tests, perspective of almost complete automation, up to robotisation, testing and control, wider field of use.
