FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of research of tribotechnical characteristics of bearing materials and can be used for their determination with high accuracy not only in normal, but also in specific conditions, in particular, in open space, in the zone of ionizing radiation, extreme temperatures, etc. Device comprises a housing in which a rotor is installed on bearings with a rigidly fixed on it disk with a given moment of inertia and with reference marks made on it, a recorder of the location of reference marks in time, and an electric drive of the rotor rotation. Device is equipped with a mechanism for axial loading of bearings and a sensor for measuring vibrations of the housing, and the stator and armature windings of the drive are mounted respectively in the housing and on the rotor.
EFFECT: improving accuracy of determining tribotechnical characteristics of bearing materials, simplifying the design, reducing weight and dimensions of the device.
