FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat exchangers and can be used in chemical, petrochemical and other industries. Disclosed is a shell-and-tube heat exchange apparatus with a tube bundle arranged in a casing, in which in the gap between the tube bundle and the casing of the apparatus there is filler made of alternating layers of a volume mesh and low-permeability material or of several layers of corrugated sheet material.
EFFECT: invention provides higher efficiency of heat exchange in shell-and-tube heat exchangers and higher reliability of heat exchangers.
