SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method, devices and a machine-readable medium for displaying information content with the screen off. A method comprising: obtaining an integral display driver circuit (IDDC) or an integrated touchscreen display driver (ITDD) of a content item required for displaying when the screen is off, and storing information about the format corresponding to the information content stored in the IDDC or the ITDD; obtaining the IDDC or ITDD reference time associated with the system time received by the application processor (AP) when the screen is switched off, wherein the IDDC or the ITDD counts the time and calculates the instantaneous value of the system time without every minute transfer of the AP to the active state; displaying the said information content using the IDDC or ITDD by displaying, with the screen off, in accordance with the specified reference time, format information and a content item required for displaying with the screen off, by holding a portion of the screen on without switching the AP to an active state to perform real-time construction of the information content.
EFFECT: low power consumption when displayed with the screen off.
