FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna engineering and is intended for use in phased antenna arrays (PAA) built on ferrite phase changers. Method of controlling phase distribution of phased antenna array is based on the fact that phasing time is divided into several cycles, and for each cycle phased 1 / n total number of phase changers, where n≥1, calculating and writing phase codes in azimuth φj=(2π/λ)·j·dy·cosθy, where λ – wavelength, j – phase shifter number per line, dy – antenna array pitch along horizontal line, θy is beam deflection angle on azimuth. Phases of the phased antenna array line are successively calculated and recorded for each phase changer by phase angle codes φi=(2π/λ)·i·dy·cosθz, where λ – wavelength, i – phase shifter number by column, dz – antenna array pitch along vertical line, θz is angle of beam deviation by elevation angle, adding phase codes by azimuth and phase codes by elevation angle, storing sum of phase codes by azimuth and phase codes by elevation angle with predetermined address code, total phase code is corrected taking into account nonlinearity of phase changer characteristics, converting obtained values of phase codes into pulses of control of phase changers. To increase accuracy of phase distribution control before breakdown of phasing time for several cycles current pulses are supplied to phase changers, outputting them to limit hysteresis cycle, transforming phase changers to state corresponding to maximum magnetisation, taken as zero of count of phase, and phase distribution of phased antenna array is carried out by pulses of control of phase changers, supplied simultaneously to phase-shifted phase changers.
EFFECT: high accuracy of controlling phase distribution before breaking down the phasing time.
