SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to preparations of peptidic origin, having nootropic action. Disclosed agent is an oral dosage form and contains cyclo (prolyl-alanine) in amount of 4–10 wt. % immobilized on a sorbent which is D-mannitol and excipients. Composition enables to obtain a granular or tablet dosage form when adding auxiliary substances. Implementation of the invention enables to obtain an agent providing a bioavailability coefficient of cyclo (prolyl-alanine) with intragastric introduction to 0.88±10.05, that is approximately 90 % of the preparation introduced peros falls into the bloodstream.

EFFECT: with oral administration of the declared agent, evident protoprotective activity is observed, preservation of the memorable trace in healthy individuals and individuals with ischemic cerebral involvement is increased, which makes the preparation promising for treating cognitive brain injuries and similar diseases.
