FIELD: meteorology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for recording the amount and intensity of precipitation in liquid state. Summary: pluviograph contains flat precipitate collector (1) installed at specified angle to horizon, under channel of which there is chute (2). Chute (2) is made in the form of a volute, the upper curved edge of which is directed towards precipitate collector (1). At that, precipitate collector (1) from three other free sides along external contour contains vertically arranged plate-like projections (7) excluding precipitation outflow beyond its limits. Drain branch pipe (3) is connected to the drain of chute (2) and equipped with an automatic precipitation amount counter (4) at the outlet, the outlet of which is connected to drain pipe (6). Precipitation amount counter (4) through controller (5) is connected to an information receiving and processing station through a wire or wireless communication channel. Precipitate collector (1) is arranged on vertical axis (8) with possibility of free rotation and comprises tail unit (9), which directs its surface in direction of wind flow.

EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy of measuring atmospheric precipitation, wider zone of functional application of pluviograph.
