FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the azimuth propulsion system steering system. Azimuth propulsion system steering system comprises at least one hydraulic motor, fluid circulation circuit, overload protection unit and pressure release unit. Hydraulic motor can control azimuth system of propulsion unit. Propulsion unit is located outside the ship. Overload protection unit comprises pressure relief unit and heat exchange control unit. Pressure release unit comprises pressure release valve, and the heat exchange control unit comprises a heat accumulator, a heat exchanger or a combination of the above. Circuit of fluid medium circulation comprises overload protection unit and is configured to at least partially absorb heat generated during propeller unit.
EFFECT: reduced weight, dimensions and costs of the propulsion system.
