METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF URETHRA NARROWING Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B17/00

Abstract RU 2694477 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely reconstructive-plastic surgery and urology. Incision is made along a middle line of the perineum, anus extending upwards of 2 cm, then an access is formed in the bulbo-spongios muscle to the albuginea of the bulb. Thereafter, bulbous urethrothrombin access is made in the urethral bending zone in the distal direction of its constriction to visualize the narrowed part of the urethra through the urethral lumen. Cicatricial tissue is excreted intraurethrally throughout the urethral constriction, after dilatation of dissected urethral margins, a rhomb shaped surface is formed under the transplant throughout the narrowing to a healthy portion of the urethra. Then the graft is prepared from the oral mucosa in accordance with the shape and size of the formed site, the transplant with triangular tops is laid on healthy areas of the urethra and fixed first in the proximal part of the prepared site. After suturing, a urethral catheter is inserted into the bladder, the balloon of which is inflated to 5–10 ml. Similarly, the distal portion of the graft is sutured to the urethra without tension, after fixing the graft with vertices of triangular shape, through its central part is pierced through to adjacent structures of the urethra.

EFFECT: method enables recovering the urethral lumen for adequate urination, maintaining anatomical structures, vascular network and innervation, eliminating cosmetic defects, maintaining erectile function and urine retention function in the urinary bladder.
