FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to urology, and can be used for improving haemostasis when performing surgical interventions for strictures of the bulbose urethra in males. After bulbotic urethral opening, incision is performed along its ventral surface to determine distal and proximal boundaries of urethral stricture. Haemostatic clamps of "bulldog" type are fixed on spongious body 1–1.5 cm in distal direction and proximal dissected part of bulbose part of urethra. A continuous blanket suture is made (from the outside inwards with a mucosal catch) using monofilament suture 4/0 on the right and left edges of a dissected bulbous portion of the urethra. After excising the cicatricial portion of the spongy body with skin edges, an urethral anastomosis is formed, and bulldog-type clamps are removed.
EFFECT: method provides prevention of bleeding during surgery due to reliable and safe blood flow shutoff in the main blood vessels of the anatomical area.
