FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to anesthesiology-resuscitation. A method for objectifying readings of repeated introduction of a local anesthetic solution into the epidural space involves determining the development of the epidural block under the control of formation of boundaries of the temperature zone by means of thermo-sheets located vertically on the skin surface. After establishing the required length of the epidural block, the thermo-sheets are fixed horizontally at the upper and lower boundaries of the developed temperature zone. At the same time change of color of liquid crystalline thermo-sheets during periodical blockade is an indication for prescribing introduction of repeated dose of local anesthetic solution into epidural space.
EFFECT: method enables the objective determination of repeated introduction of a local anesthetic solution into the epidural space.
