FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to plastic surgery. Skin and subcutaneous tissue are dissected peripherally from the de-epidermization zone by 3 cm towards the new submammary fold, dissection of skin and subcutaneous tissue is performed to superficial fascia of the thorax. That is followed by mobilizing the mammary gland by dissection in the retromammary space to level 3 of the rib. Posterior leaf of fascia is dissected together with breast tissue at depth of 2.5–3 cm so that when extending, lower edge is freely fixed in zone of submammary fold. Then mobilized lower edge of mammary gland with fascia of its own is fixed with interrupted sutures Vicryl 3/0 for own thoracic fascia in projection of submammary fold, fixing sutures passing through the edge of de-epidermis skin and own gland tissue immediately at the areola edge along the perimeter.
EFFECT: method enables creating a new submammary fold at considerable ptosis and tuberous of mammary glands, reducing the risk of capsular contracture, avoiding contouring of the prosthesis edges and early ptosis of the glands under the effect of the implant and intrinsic tissues.
