FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to a method for treatment and prevention of parasitosis of birds with optimization of their metabolism and nonspecific resistance, including application of combined preparation containing active substances and auxiliary components – antioxidant, preserving agent, basic solvent, co-solvent, emulsifier with following content of components, wt%: ivermectin – 0.2–2.0, butafosfan – 5.0–35.0, auxiliary components: Jojoba's gelatin – 5.0–10.0, benzyl alcohol – 1.0–2.0, diethylene glycol monoethyl ether – 20.0–30.0, tween-80 – 19.0–20.0, distilled water – the rest, and which is applied orally in the form of a solution in a group way with water for drinking, in a daily dose of 400 mcg of ivermectin per 1 kg of poultry weight.
EFFECT: more effective treatment of parasitic diseases of birds with optimization of their metabolism and natural resistance.
