SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of military equipment as protection from detection of the location of the units of defense purpose, which release thermal energy during operation. Device with system for mutual monitoring of ambient temperature and control of thermal resistance, ejected heat flow through protective screen made of housing with parallel installed panels with sets of differential thermocouples. Control system includes external and internal air temperature recorders, each of which contains comparison units, reference, nonlinear feedback, as well as electronic and magnetic amplifiers, connected to electric motors drives for control of thermal resistance of protective screen in the form of powder electromagnetic couplings unit.

EFFECT: reliable protection from means of fixing thermal radiation by third-party intelligence devices for thermal radiation of diesel-generator sets of military equipment in field and stationary operating conditions.
