FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of oxidising n-hexane with atmospheric oxygen into oxo-derivatives of hexane and organic acids of the C1-C4 fraction in the presence of a solid-phase catalyst. Catalyst used is one of metal-substituted aluminophosphates MnARO-5, CoAPO-5, MnARO-18, CoAPO-18 or one of the mixed oxides of cobalt and manganese CoMn2O4 or Co2MnO4, deposited on silica gel substrate SiO2 or onto a mesoporous molecular sieve SBA-15 substrate, wherein the oxidation is carried out for 24 hours at temperature of 150 °C, pressure of 70 atm and an air flow of 60 ml/min.
EFFECT: technical result is the development of a catalytic method for oxidising n-hexane with atmospheric oxygen, which provides high selectivity to acids during molar output of products of oxidation of hexane 20 %.
