SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to compressor or vacuum pump. Compressor or vacuum pump comprises housing (2) having inlet (3) and outlet (4) of cooling gas, fan installed at inlet (3), compression chamber, in case of compressor, or vacuum chamber, in case of vacuum pump (1), drive module and muffler. Fan includes a housing and is made with possibility to inject cooling gas into housing (2). Compression chamber or vacuum chamber comprises first housing, process gas inlet and outlet and, at least, one rotating element. Module comprises a second housing and at least one support for supporting at least one rotating element (9). Silencer comprises cover and is made with possibility to reduce noise created by compressor or vacuum pump (1). Silencer cover accommodates recess to deflect cooling gas flow from fan towards drive module.

EFFECT: group of inventions is aimed at creation of compressor or vacuum pump, which effectively maintains desired temperature of its components.
