FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to extraction of solid component containing calcium from steel-smelting slag. Disclosed is a method of extracting a calcium-containing solid component from steel-smelting slag, comprising immersing steel-smelting slag in aqueous solution containing carbon dioxide, separating said slag from aqueous solution, high pH of the aqueous solution separated from the steel-smelting slag, and extraction of the solid component containing calcium precipitated from the aqueous solution with high pH. Solid component recovered by the above method contains 20 wt% or more of calcium atoms per total weight of the solid component. Invention is developed in dependent items of the formula.
EFFECT: high degree of calcium extraction.
