FIELD: medicine; hygiene.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to air refreshing with reduction and masking of undesirable aromas and emission of pleasant aromas. Air freshener comprises: an insert section having: a first end and a second end; electrodes configured to receive and transmit electric current, and with possibility of such connection of air freshener with power supply, that first end of insert section is located near power supply source; an outer section including a base having first and second sides, the first side of the base being connected to the second end of the insert section, and the base includes at least one port on the base second side, configured to receive at least a portion of the electric current from the electrodes, a bushing inside the base, located between the first side of the base and the second side of the base, wherein the sleeve is configured to supply heat sufficient to emit aroma from material capable of emitting aroma, when supplying at least part of electric current to the bushing from electrodes, and a cover having an annular cross-section and such sizes and shape to ensure its connection to the base second side, leaving at least one port accessible when the cover is connected to the base. Also described is a method of assembling said air freshener and a method of emitting flavour from material placed in said air freshener.

EFFECT: enabling the possibility of providing the desired odour during air refreshing.
