SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cooling of a vehicle, in particular, to a reversing mechanical blower assembly. Fan assembly may include input shaft, first and second belts, first and second pulleys are engaged with first belt, third and fourth pulleys are engaged with second belt, output shaft is rotationally connected with fan, and clutch assembly. Second pulley can be rotationally connected to the first pulley by means of the first belt for rotation in the same direction as the first pulley. Fourth pulley can be rotationally connected to the third pulley by means of the second belt for rotation in the opposite direction from the third pulley. Clutch assembly can be configured to selectively rotatably connect the output shaft to the input shaft by means of a first pulley, a first belt and a second pulley. Clutch assembly can also be configured to selectively rotatably connect the output shaft to the input shaft by a third pulley, a second belt and a fourth pulley.

EFFECT: invention provides higher efficiency of fan operation.
