Packet router in networks with heterogeneous toroidal topology comprises N input blocks, service information extraction unit, switching device, N output units, at that additionally, service information analysis unit, unit for calculating distance to destination node, subnetwork number determining unit, switching device control unit and unit for determination of transmission direction are introduced.

EFFECT: high throughput of network channels owing to avoiding communication of data on routes between routers.
