SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Fastening device for implantation into human or animal solid tissue comprises a body with a proximal head portion and a distal rod portion configured to be attached to said solid tissue. Body of the above device has a longitudinal channel extending distally from the proximal end. Fastening device comprises a fluidised element inserted or inserted into the longitudinal channel and at least partially liquefied under the action of energy acting from the proximal side, so that the fluidised material flows out of the longitudinal channel through at least one said opening into the structure of the solid fabric and/or the hard material substitute material. Said rod section has no thread and has non-circular cross section. At least, section of rod section is flat, forming two flat sides. Rod section is twisted into a spiral throughout the length of the fastener with a twisting angle in range of 10 to 270°. Rod section has at least two openings extending from the longitudinal channel in the outward direction. On each of said flat sides there is one opening.

EFFECT: invention provides long-term stability of pedicle screws, especially in case of osteoporosis, osteopenia or weakened tissues.
